Short version: we collect what you give us in the form and use it only to reply. We don’t sell, share, or repackage your data.
What we collect
When you submit a form on this site we collect what you write in it: for automations, the description of the task; for websites, your current site’s address, what your business does, what you want and what’s wrong now, and (optionally) a rough budget and deadline. Always your email address, and optionally your name. We also log your browser’s user-agent string and the page you came from for routine traffic analysis. We don’t collect anything else from the form. If you simply browse the site, the only thing collected is Google Analytics’ visit counting, when it’s switched on (see Cookies and analytics below).
The design room demo
The design room demo on this site sends nothing to us and stores nothing beyond your browser tab: your taps and notes are kept in your tab only while it’s open, and disappear when you close it. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Design rooms for clients
When we design a client’s website, their design room runs on their own website’s server, not ours. The answers given in it (taps, reaction words, mark-up, comments, and the first name each invitation was made for) are kept on that server only until we collect them, then in the project’s private records for the life of the redesign. Each project has its own written privacy record, agreed with the client before anyone is invited.
How we use it
We use it solely to reply to your enquiry. We don’t share it with third parties, we don’t enroll you in any mailing list, and we don’t use it to train any AI model.
How long we keep it
We keep submissions for as long as the conversation is active, then archive them privately for record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your record at any time by emailing [email protected] and we will do so within 14 days.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 for visit counting if a measurement ID is configured. GA4 stores cookies in your browser to identify return visits. You can opt out by blocking cookies for worstpart.co.uk in your browser settings, or by using a browser extension like Ghostery or uBlock Origin. We don’t run any other tracking pixels or third-party tags.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to ask for it to be deleted, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe we have mishandled it. Contact us at [email protected] for any of the above.
