Websites
Let us take away the worst part of web design.
The guessing. The endless revisions. The worry that you’ll spend thousands on a website that isn’t what you imagined.
See three genuinely different designs for your business. Explore them, change what you don’t like, and approve what you actually see, not what you’re hoping to get.
No sales script. We tell you what the first stage includes, and its fixed quote, before you agree to anything.
01 How it works
Don’t imagine your new website. See it. Shape it. Then approve it.
- 01
We learn your business and your visitors.
A careful look at your current site, what your customers come to do, and what you've already told us. You confirm it in a few taps, before anything is designed.
- 02
Three genuinely different directions.
Three different answers for your site, each built properly and shown on desktop and phone. Different layout, type, imagery and character, not one template in three colours.
- 03
You choose by tapping.
Explore, maybe, not for me. Circle what to keep and what to change. Compare your favourites side by side. Adjust colours and type the design allows, live.
- 04
Real visitors try it.
Where your project includes it, people who've never seen your site try the key pages, so the decision isn't only about taste.
- 05
Every page, then the build, checked.
Every page is designed and agreed before it's built. Then the finished site is compared with what you approved, and any difference is fixed or put to you.
02 Why it feels different
You shouldn’t need a design vocabulary to get a website that feels right.
Tap a direction that excites you. Circle the bit that doesn’t. Adjust what the design allows. Ask us to combine ideas from two directions, and see the real combination before you approve it.
Underneath, we keep a record of every decision, so whoever builds your site gets more than “make it like the mockup”: the pages, the content, the components and the checks that describe exactly what you approved.
03 Beyond the look
Beautiful is the start, not the finish.
We find out what your visitors need, plan the pages and the journeys through them, and check that people can actually use the result: on phones, with a keyboard, with a screen reader. A striking website shouldn’t make your customers work harder.
04 The check
The website you approved should be the one you receive.
When the site is built, we compare it with your approved designs, page by page, and show you every difference. Each one is fixed, or you approve it with the reason written down. Nothing changes quietly.

What the check found
- A colour that isn't in the approved designcolours that aren't design tokens: rgb(37, 99, 235) on 2 element(s)
- Approved wording missingmissing from the content matrix: Built to the wall you actually have.
An illustration, made by running our real build check on a copy of one of the example business’s looks, with two deliberate mistakes put in: the button colour drifted to a blue that isn't in the approved palette; the approved headline was rewritten. It caught both.
05What you’re buying
Three stages. Stop after any of them.
Explore
Fixed quote
We get to know your business and your visitors, plan the site, and design three genuinely different directions for its key pages, on desktop and phone, in your own design room. You come away with a written choice of direction. You can stop here: the plan and the designs are yours.
Decide
Fixed quote
Your chosen direction across every agreed page, tested with real visitors where included, checked for accessibility and phones, and written up as a build-ready package: the design system, content, search plan and the tests the build must pass.
Build & Check
Quoted once the design is agreed
The site built on the platform that suits you, then compared with what you approved. Anything that differs is fixed, or put to you to approve.
Every stage gets a fixed quote in writing, with exactly what it includes, before you agree to it, and what you get from a stage is yours once it’s paid for. Published prices will follow once our first projects have shown what each stage really takes.
06Honest about what’s new
The design room is new. Its first real project is this website.
The process grew out of two real redesigns, and it’s been built and tested carefully, but you won’t find client logos or testimonials here yet. Worstpart’s own site is going through the whole process next, and we’ll publish what happens, choices and all.
07 Common questions
Before you get in touch.
Is this AI?
Partly, and we'll always say where. We use AI tools (Claude and ChatGPT) to help produce and check the work. But your website's direction is created for your business and chosen by you, and a person reviews and takes responsibility for everything we hand over.
Is it a template?
No. Each of the three directions is designed for your business from scratch, and they're deliberately different from each other: we check that they still look different with all the words taken out.
What if I don't like any of the three?
Then you tell us why, in the design room, and we make another round from what you said. Your notes on what you didn't like are some of the most useful material we get. How many rounds are included is written into your quote.
Can I stop after the first stage?
Yes. Each stage is agreed and paid for separately, and what you get from it is yours to keep, whether or not you carry on with us.
Are the three looks three whole websites?
No: they're three directions for the key pages (usually the home page and the page that matters most for your business, like an enquiry page or a product page). The full set of pages comes in the next stage, in the direction you chose.
Who owns the designs?
You do, once you've paid for the stage they came from. Anything licensed from someone else, like a font or a photograph, comes with its licence, which we list for you.
Does it work with my platform?
The design is handed over as a detailed package any developer can build from. If you'd like us to build it too, we'll say which platform suits you and quote it separately.
Can you guarantee more enquiries or better rankings?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. We can make sure the site is clear, quick, accessible and easy for search engines to read, and test it with real people before it's built.
What if the finished site looks different from what I approved?
That's exactly what the final check is for. We compare the built site with your approved designs, page by page, and show you any difference. Each one is fixed, or you approve it with the reason written down. Nothing changes quietly.
I don't have a domain yet. Can I still start?
Yes. We'll help you choose one; your design room goes on it once it's set up.
How much does it cost?
Each stage has a fixed quote, in writing, with exactly what it includes, before you agree to it. It depends on how many pages your site needs and how much content and imagery there is, which is why we look at your current site first.
